By creating an account and using WineVerse you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the application.
WineVerse is for people aged 18 and over. The application is about alcoholic beverages. By creating an account you declare that you are at least 18 years old.
WineVerse lets you keep a record of your cellar, build a wishlist, recognise wines from a photo of their label and consult a sommelier assisted by artificial intelligence. Basic use is free, with limits on the number of wines and queries. A premium subscription is available that raises those limits and unlocks additional features.
The sommelier's answers, the label recognition and the drinking windows are generated by an automated language model. They are indicative and may contain errors. They do not constitute professional, oenological, nutritional or medical advice, and should not be used as the basis for purchase, storage or consumption decisions that you are not prepared to verify yourself.
When the system is not sufficiently confident about a drinking window, it tells you so explicitly in the application. The absence of that marker is not a guarantee of accuracy.
You may not use WineVerse to upload illegal content or content that is not yours, to attempt to access other accounts' data, to overload or interfere with the service, or to automate its use in order to extract data in bulk. We may suspend an account that breaches these conditions.
The wines you add and the photos you upload remain yours. You authorise us solely to store and process them in order to provide you the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability or of the accuracy of automatically generated content. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or loss of data arising from use of the application.
You can close your account whenever you want from Profile → Account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. We may close an account that breaches these terms, giving you notice where reasonably possible.
If I modify these terms, I update the effective date. Continued use of the application after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the República Oriental del Uruguay (Uruguay), and any dispute is submitted to the jurisdiction of its competent courts.
